Cabin 2 overlooks the valley and the view was spectacular. The cabin we were in had a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside being nestled in the side of Mt Quincan. The fire in the cabin was my husband's favourite feature especially the way it turned around to face the bedroom or the lounge area.

Highly recommend coming here for a romantic weekend away! The romantic angle is a little over the top (the spa is right in front of the best window view, it isn't possible to light the room brighter than romantic dim, the beds were extra extra soft, etc) However, it is right in the middle of some very beautiful country. Dennis even ended up doing our photography for us as we had no photographer - it was such a fun experience.The rooms are beautiful, putting the fire on is a must, especially on the cold winter nights! Mt Quincan is the perfect base for an Adventure or Eco get away, with such an abundance of natural splendour around us. . They are perfectly laid out with the most amazing views of the tablelands! Quincan. We had our small ceremony in the reception area and the set up was done beautifully.

The décor and design is done so well and comes with a delicious self cook breakfast for each night you stay.I have not tried all the retreats around the area but this would be very hard to beat. The bed is super comfy, the outdoor shower and spa are awesome and and fire place just tops it off as we used it every night!

We topped off our weekend with a wander through the huge second hand bookshop I yungaburra on the way home. Elevated above the surrounding landscape, Mt Quincan's forested slopes are a haven to relax and enjoy the scenic views. Quincan Crater to ensure you enjoy a private and relaxing accommodation experience. The manager of the property went beyond the call of duty to ensure our comfort and his infectious enthusiasm for the area was contagious. We previously stayed in one of the Tree houses facing in towards the crater & I have to say as amazing as it was I did prefer the view out towards the fields, the sunrises were amazing. On our first stay we got engaged so we thought it would be perfect to come back and have our wedding here.

Each fully self contained timber pole treehouse contains a luxury king size bed, comfy sofa lounge, double spa, and wood fire and of course there is the fully equipped kitchen where you will find the fridge stocked full country breakfast provisions for each day of your stay. The walk down into the crater was lovely and took a little over thirty minutes late in the afternoon.
